Leviticus Chapter 24

Incomprehensible – What does vs. 2 and 3 mean?  ‘From evening to morning’ is all night – ‘before You continually?’ ‘It shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations?’ How long is that?  What about today?  Is it that long?  But no my generations?  What does light and 12 cakes mean?  Why is gold italicized?  What do I need to do?  Why is vs. 10-16 with a lamp to burn continually and the bread of the Presence?  The lamp and bread represent Jesus.  Is this all about Jesus?  The WORD OF God?  Moses and Jesus the same?  Moses did not act; he waited for Your command.  Jesus waits for Your command?  Why do You end this Chapter with vs. 17-23?  What about mercy, and compassion, and forgiveness?

Why do You kill the person who blasphemes Your name?  I blaspheme Your name upon my bed every time and yet I am not dead.  Here I am right now blaspheming You.  Why do You have the congregation lay their hands on the man and then they stone him with stones to death until he dies?  Yet You say love Your neighbor as Yourself.  Yet You say no man shall kill another human being?  Why is that okay?  It is a horrible way to die.  Why is that okay?  Why is killing someone okay when you have commanded it?  What is the difference?

Why do I feel this way?  I must lack faith My LORD It is not in my heart.  I am trying…
