Leviticus Chapter 26

Omniscient – You know everything.  You know my heart.  You know my fears.  You know I am afraid.  You know I am beaten down and tire.  You know I am evil, only evil all of the time.  You know I don’t understand.  You know I am not getting it.  You know what to say and what to do.  You know the future.  You are all-knowing.

Omnipotent- You can do anything.  You make a covenant.  You have Your Word speak to me.  You punish, destroy, and make desolate.  You give Your statutes and Your commandments.  You hive the rains and the seasons.  You give the land and its produce.  You give and You take away.  You can make me understand.  You can make me listen and You can open my eyes to see.  If You just wanted to You would permit me.  You are all-powerful.

Omnipresent – You are everywhere.  You are in the land.  You are among the nations.  You are in the midst of the sons of Israel.  You are here with me.  You are in my heart.  You are all-present.

Infinite – There are no limits or bounds to Your person or dominion.  You make Your covenant between Yourself and the sons of Israel through Moses at Mount Sinai and through Your Son The Word in the heavens and on earth.  You are forever and ever.

Immutable – You do not change.  If I walk in Your statutes and keep Your commandment so as to carry them out, then You will give me rains in their season, so that the land will yield its produce and the trees of the field will bear their fruit.  You will also grant peace in the land, so that I may lie down with no one me tremble.  You will turn toward me, make me fruitful, and multiply me, and You will confirm Your covenant with me.  You are Jehovah My God who brought me out of the land of Egypt so that I should not be their slaves, and You broke the bars of my yoke and made me walk erect.  You do all that You say and You have done what You want.  You will never be made to change.

Self – Existent – You exist by Yourself.  It is Your creation who needs You for their own existence.  You make up my existence.  You make up Your covenant.  You choose.  You decide.

Self-Sufficient – You do not need any of Your creation to bring about Your will or Your purpose.  You choose to use Your Word and me and Your covenant because it is Your good pleasure, not Your need, that governs Your choice.

Eternal – You are the cause of time.  You are generations forever and ever.  You are 3,000 years ago and You are today.  You are time.

Transcendent – You are apart from Your creation.  You teach me about Yourself.  What is the difference between Your purpose and Your will?  Synonym:  for Purpose, is INTEND, INTENTION..  It is to intend, restive, or plan  1:  something one intends to get or do or end in view.

But the Pharisees and the lawyers rejected God’s purpose for themselves, not having been baptized by John.

Jesus’ purpose – to appoint you me a minister and a witness not only to the things which you I have seen but also to the things in which I, Jesus The Word will appear to you me; delivering you me from the Jewish people and from the Gentiles, to whom I am you are sending  you me, to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to God, in order that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me You.

And we know that god causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.  For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the first-born among many brethren…  Am I my Lord?

Sovereign – You give me Your WORD.  You call me.  You speak to me.  It is You the sons of Israel worship.  It is You I worship.  You make Your covenant with the sons of Israel and with me also?  You are in complete control and You are doing Your foreknown plan!

Holy – You are a morally excellent, perfect being.  You sanctify me with Your truth.  It separates me for Your Purpose.

Gracious – You show the sons of Israel Your favor by Your covenant and by Your punishment.

Merciful – You show the sons of Israel Your favor by Your covenant and by Your punishment.

Longsuffering – You are patient with me and the sons of Israel and slow to anger.

Righteous – You are always right and Your teach me and the sons of Israel Your right ways.

Just – You destroy the guilty, cover the humble, and You reward righteousness.

Loving – you love me, call me, and wait for me.

Good – Your statutes and Your ordinances and all of Your commandments and Your covenant are so You will make Your dwelling with me and Your soul will not reject me and to walk with me and be my God and so that I will be Yours.

Wise – Your wisdom causes You to do what You do to give me important information about You and Your ways.

Truthful – You always speak the truth.  If I do not obey You and do not carry out these commandments then You say what You will do to me.  What will happen has happened.  It is reality.

Faithful – You always do what You promise.  You keep Your covenant with the sons of Israel, and with me, My LORD?  Is this a covenant with me also?  Am I being blasphemous? 

Wrathful – You will destroy all hostility and unrighteousness.

Jealous – You will not share the sons of Israel who are rightly and morally Yours with any other creature.

Incomprehensible – What does ‘I am the LORD,’ mean?  Why do You keep repeating it?  Is food= The WORD?  Is the land the entire earth?  Is it not to be Satan and his demon’s slaves?  Whose  slaves?  Anyone I work for?  What does ‘broke the bars of my yoke and made me walk erect’ mean?  Am I walking erect now?

Is Your Purpose to turn toward me and make me fruitful and multiply me, and You will confirm Your covenant with me?  What is Your Purpose? 

What is Your Will?

You will punish me seven times more for my sins?  What does that mean?  What is pride of power?  What is the plague?  Increase the plague seven times according to my sins?

Who do I act or could act hostile to You?  What does that mean?  You will strike me seven times for my sins.  Is it 7 angels?  7 bowls of wrath?  Is bread Your Word?  Is it to always mean Your Word?  Is this talking about the Churches?

What does ‘scatter among the nations’ mean today?  What does ‘weakness in our hearts’ mean?  Do I have strength to stand up before my enemies now?  Am I humbled?

How does this relate to me?  What am I supposed to know?  What am I supposed to learn?  Or do?
