Leviticus Chapter 25

Leviticus Chapter 25

Omniscient – You know everything.  You know when seven Sabbaths are and when the 50th year is.  You know what this all means.  You know Moses is a copy of Jesus.  You know the sons of Israel are a copy of me?  You know I am in slavery.  You know when Your heavenly year of the jubilee is.  You know me.  You know my heart.  You know my heart is leaping and my mind is racing.  You are all-knowing.

Omnipotent- You can do anything.  You make the Sabbath year.  You put it into the sons of Israel’s hearts to honor the jubilee.  You put Your Laws upon my heart, and upon my mind.  You will write them and my sins and my lawless deeds You will remember no more.  This Chapter is a copy of Your heavenly throne.  You have the year of the jubilee.  You are all-powerful.

Omnipresent – You are in the land of Egypt.  You are in the land of Canaan.  You are in the midst of the sons of Israel.  You are here with me.  You are in my heart.  You are everywhere.  You are all-present.

Eternal – You are the cause of time.  You are six years and seven years.  You are eight years and the ninth year.  You are the proportion of years.  You are fifty years, each generation.  You are forever and ever.  You are time.

Immutable – You do not change. Who is ‘you’?  sons of Israel?  Me?  Jesus?  Who?  I am (Jesus is) also to count off seven sabbath’s of years for himself myself, seven times seven years, I have Jesus has the time of the seven Sabbaths of years, namely forty-nine years.  I (Jesus) shall not wrong one another, but I (Jesus) shall thus observe Your statutes and keep Your judgments, as to carry them out, that I (Jesus) may live securely on the land.  The the land will yield its produce, that I (Jesus) can eat my (his) fill and live securely on it. Then the land will yield its produce, that I Jesus can eat my his fill and live securely on it.  Jehovah You will order His Your blessing for Me  Jesus in the sixth year that it will bring froth the crop for three years.  If a fellow countryman becomes so poor he ahs to sell part of his property- get a loan?  Become indebted to Satan and can’t get our?  Then his nearest kinsman is to come and buy back what his relative sold.  Or in case a man has no kinsman, but so recovers his means as to find sufficient for its redemption.  The he (who is he Jesus, Jehovah God?) shall calculate the years since its sale and refund the balance to the man to who he sold it, and so return to his property.  I Jesus shall not subject him to a slave’s service.  You will never be made to change.  You are Jehovah My God.

Self – Existent – You exist by Yourself.  You will exist even when Your creation does not.  It is Your creation who needs You to exist for their own existence.  You make up the sons of Israel’s existence.  You make up the year of the jubilee’s existence.  You make up my existence.  You decide.  You choose.

Self-Sufficient – You do not need any of Your creation to bring about Your will or Your purpose.  You choose to use the sons of Israel and the jubilee.  You choose to use the the remnant of Israel and Jesus and Your angels and Your demons because it is Your good pleasure, not Your need, that governs Your choice.

Infinite – There are no limits or bounds to Your person or dominion.  This copy of Your heavenly jubilee.  You are forever.

Transcendent – You are apart from Your creation.  You teach us about Yourself through Your Word.  You tell Your Word and Your Word tells us Your commands and Your laws and Your statutes and Your judgments.  You are my God.  You made Jesus my king who rules over me.  You are my redeemer or is Jesus?  What does redemption mean?  A buying back, release from sin. To set free by paying a ransom.  Jesus is our ransom sacrifice.  To deliver from sin and its penalties, as by a sacrifice.  SYNONYM – Rescue.

Redeemer – Job 19:25; 19:14; Is 41:14; Is 6:31; Jer 50:34

Job knows as I also know that my Redeemer lives, and at last He will take His stand on the earth.

Job 16:19; Ps 78:35; Prov 23:11; Is 43:14

O LORD, My Rock and my Redeemer.

Ps 31:15; Is 47:4 (Holy); Is 35:10; 44:6; 22-23

My Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.

O LORD, art our Father, Our Redeemer from of old is Thy name – Jehovah God.  Their redeemer is strong, the LORD of hosts is His name; He will vigorously plead their case… Jehovah my God knows I am oppressed and all who have taken me captive have held me fast, they refuse to let me go.

Thus says the LORD, the king of Israel and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts:  I am the first and I am the last, and there is no God besides Me.

Redemption – Ps 49:8; Luke 26:28; Rom 3:24 (Gracious); Romans 8:32; Eph 1:7; Gal 3:13; Gal 4:5; Col 1:14; Heb 9;12

Waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body…set me free from the body of this death.  Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us – in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of

Gal 4:5; Eph 1:7; Col 1:14 (Description of Jesus); Heb 9:12

Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.  Am I no longer a slave?  Am I a son?  Am I an heir through Jehovah God?  What is wrong with me?

In Jesus we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of my trespasses, according to the riches of Your grace?  Have I been transferred to the kingdom of Your Son?

The mature- 1 Cor 2:6; Eph 4:13; Heb 6:1

God’s wisdom in a mystery, the hidden wisdom, which God predestined before the ages to our glory…  Is becoming a teacher and using my mind becoming more mature?

Therefore leaving the elementary teaching about the Christ, let us press on to maturity (perfection), not laying again on a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of instruction about washings, and laying on of hands, and the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.  And this I shall do, if God permits.  If You permit my LORD, I am so trying.  I am here Jehovah my God.

Sovereign – It is You who redeems me through the blood of Your Son.  It is You who makes me grow to maturity.  You know I am having growing paints.  The pain is excruciating and I feel it will never end.  Then what?  I do not know my own future.  I am beginning to see a faint light at the end of the tunnel that is possibly getting brighter and brighter, but it seems so far away My LORD.  I fear I will never get it.  I fear I will elt You down.  You know me.  You are in complete control and You are doing Your foreknown plan!

Holy – You are a morally excellent, perfect being.  You separate the fiftieth year – the jubilee.  It is the return of ancestral possessions every fiftieth year.  The year of liberty.  You are our Redeemer, Jehovah, the LORD of hosts, is Your name, The Holy One of Israel.

Gracious – You show Israel Your favor by Israel being justified as a gift by Your grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus.

Merciful – You show Israel Your compassion through the jubilee to give hope to all of us that one day we will return to our inheritance.

Righteous – You are always right. You teach the right way.

Longsuffering – You are patient with Israel and slow to anger.

Just – You punish the guilty, cover the guilty, and reward the righteous.

Loving – You love me and want me to grow to my potential of what You made me.

Good – You give me Your Word and are patient with me.  You give the jubilee and hope.

Wise – Your wisdom causes You to do the things You do to teach me about Yourself.  Your wisdom in a mystery, the hidden wisdom, which You predestined before the ages to my glory.

Truthful – You have the jubilee, a heavenly jubilee.  This being a copy of Your heavenly throne.

Faithful – You always do what You promise.  You will write these things upon my heart and upon my mind.  You will write them and You will show me how to do them.

Wrathful – You will destroy all unrighteousness.

Jealous – You will not share me or Israel or the jubilee what is rightly and morally Yours with any other creature.

Incomprehensible – What are the Sabbath products of today?  What does all of this mean?  How does it relate to me?  Are You speaking to Jesus AND to me?  Because Moses was also part of the sons of Israel.  What happens, happen to Jesus and to me?  If the sons of Israel don’t do what is commanded, then Moses won’t live securely in the land either.

How does one sore so much food?  How do I provide for the redemption of the land?  What does redemption of the land mean?

What does all of this mean?  Is it a future prophetic time?  Or am I being blasphemous?  What is redemption rights?  Who are the Levites today?  Why do the Levites have a permanent right of redemption?  ‘The houses of the cities of the Levites are their possession among the sons of Israel.’  What does this mean?

For me, where is the land of Egypt and where is the land of Canaan?  Am I so poor that I am a slave to Satan?  Do any of these laws apply to Satan?  Laws are only for those who obey them.  What about the churches?  What is the price of my sale?  Jesus’ blood?  Jesus’ ransom sacrifice?

What if this is a copy of Your heavenly throne?  Am I blaspheming Yoru name?  Am I a son/daughter of Israel?  A slave to sin.  A slave to Satan.  You My LORD redeem me.  When are heavenly six years?  When is Your heavenly Jubilee?  What are Your crops and vineyards?  Are they people?  You prune people for six years?  And have a harvest enough for three years until the ninth year?  When is my Sabbatical Year?  What do I do?  What does all of this mean?

Slave – Gen 39:17; 49:15; Lev 25:42; Jer 2:14; Lam 5:8; Matt 10:24; Matt 25:21; Matt 10:44; John 8:34; Gal 3:28; Eph 6:6

Joseph was a slave in Egypt who became a ruler in Egypt.

For they are my servants whom I brought out from the land of Egypt; they are not to be sold in a slave sale.

Is Israel a slave?  Or is he a home born servant?  Why has he become prey?

Slaves rule over us; there is no one to deliver us from their hand.

A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a slave above his master.

His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful slave; You were faithful with a few things, Ill put you in charge of many things, enter into the joy of your master.’

Mark 10:44; John 8:34; Gal 3:28; Eph 6:6

…and whoever wishes to be first among you shall be slave of all.

Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is the slave of sin.  And the slave does not remain in the house forever; the son does forever.  If therefore the Son shall make you free, you shall be free indeed.

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.  And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise.

Slaves, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your heart, as to Christ; not by way of eye service, as men-pleasers, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart.

Satan – ruler of the demons – Matt 9;34; Mark 3:22

Ruler of this world – John 12:31; 14:30; 15:11

How can Stan cast our Satan?  Mark 3:22

The ruler of this world is coming.  … and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.
