Deuteronomy Chapter 6

Deuteronomy Chapter 6

Omniscient – You know my intense love – my evil love.  You must destroy me now before I hurt You.  You already regret making me.  Kill me please, I beg You.  You possess me.  Your voice is in my heart and in my soul and in my mind.  Secretly, secretly.  You know my heart.  You know that I am going crazy.  What is wrong with me?  You know the past and the future.  You are all-knowing.

Omnipotent- You can do anything.  You make me understand if You just wanted to.  You separate me.  You lead me.  You teach me.  You can help me.  Please Jehovah my God help me.  What is right and good in Your sight?  I am so tired My LORD.  You are all-powerful.

Omnipresent – You are everywhere.  You are with me in my house and when I walk by the way and when I lie down and when I rise up.  You are in Your testimonies and Your statutes and Your judgments.  You are here with me. You are in Your WORD.  You are all-present.

Eternal – You are the cause of time.  You are all the days and in the time to come.  You are today and now.  You are forever and ever.  You are time.

Immutable – You do not change.  I and my son and my grandson might fear You my God  You commanded me to observe all these statutes to fear You.  You will never be made to change.

Self – Existent – You exist by Yourself.  You will exist even when the sons of Israel do not.  We need You in order to exist.  You choose.  You make up Your testimonies and statutes and judgments.  You make up Your commandments.  You make up Moses’ existence and my existence.  You decide.  You decide who lives and who dies.  You exist in everything.

Self-Sufficient – You do not need any of Your creation to bring about Your will or Your purpose.  You choose to use  Moses and Israel and Your commandments and testimonies and statutes and judgments, because it is Your good pleasure, not Your need, that governs Your choice.

Infinite – There are no limits or bounds to Your person or dominion.  You are in my heart and my mind and my strength.  You are limitless.

Transcendent – You are apart from Your creation.  You teach me about You.  You teach me to listen and to love You and to diligently keep Your commandments.  You teach me and to observe You to know You.  I LOVE You my LORD.  I feel love and peace and joy, it’s incredible.  Thank-You My LORD  I am still working on goodness, gentleness, and self-control My LORD, but I HAVE love, joy, peace, kindness, and faithfulness all things I could never have.  Not me but You are God.  You are amazing!

Sovereign – It is You Israel worships.  Religions don’t worship You.  The teach about You and affirm You and probably respect You, but they do not raise You to the higher level You stand.  It is You I worship.  You have put Deuteronomy Chapter 6 into my heart and my soul and they feel as though they will burst.  I feel as though I am about to explode.  What can I do?  I want to stay here with You.  I love You and I want to learn more.  I don’t want to go out there.  I want to sleep and be at peace.  You are in complete control and You are doing Your foreknown plan!

Holy – You are a morally excellent, perfect being.  You separate me by Your truth through You Son Jesus Christ for Your purpose.

Gracious – You show me Your favor by giving me Your testimonies and statutes and judgments to fear You my God or my good always and for my survival.

Merciful – You show me Your compassion by what is righteous for me.  If I am careful to observe al the commandment before You my God, just as You commanded me.

Righteous – You are always right.  You teach the right way to observe all of Your commandments.

Just – You punish the unrighteous, atone for sin, and reward the righteous.

Longsuffering - You are patient with Your people and slow to anger.

Loving – You love Your people.  You take care of them and give them what they need.  I need Your commandments for my good always and for my survival.

Good – You give Your people a part of Yourself.  You give Your commandments and statutes and judgments and Your WORD and Your Son for my good always and for my survival.

Wise – Your wisdom causes You to give me commandments and statutes and judgments.  Your wisdom is higher than my wisdom.  Your thoughts are higher than my thoughts.

Truthful - You always speak the truth.  You are Jehovah my God.  Your WORD is Your truth.  Is chapter 5 Truth?  Is it a Covenant with Israel?  With me?  Moses said this entire chapter.  Is it truth?  It must be because Your WORD, Your Son said and You let it be said.

Faithful – You always do what You promise. You command me to observe all these statutes, to fear You my God for my good always and or my survival and it will be righteousness for me if I am careful to observe al the commandment before You my God.

Wrathful - You will destroy all unrighteousness.  I shall not follow other gods, any of the gods of the people who surround me.

Jealous – You are a jealous God.  You will not share Israel, Your people or me who are rightly and morally Yours with any other creature.

Incomprehensible – What is diligent?  1) Persevering and careful in work; hard working; industrious 2) done with careful, steady effort, My LORD, I think I am diligent until I give up.  How do I do ALL that You command me?  I am an idiot.  Diligent – Prov 10:4; Prov 21:5; 2 Tim 2:15; Heb 4:11; 2 Pet 1:15

Be diligent to present myself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, handling accurately the word of truth.

What DO I want?  I want to walk in a manner worthy of Jehovah My God, to pleas Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of Jehovah God.  I LOVE Him and I want to please Him – no land, not eternal life, no covenants that I cannot do.  I am so evil.  I only think evil thought all the time.  I even have evil love.  Passion doesn’t sound evil, but it must be.  How do I do all that You command me?  What am I supposed to do?  How do I love You with all f my heart and with all my soul and with all my might?  How do I teach them diligently to my son and talk of them when I sit in my house and when I walk by the way and when I lie down and when I rise up?  How do I bind them as a sign on my hand?  How do I write them on the doorposts of my house and on my gates?  How do I watch myself lest I forget You who brought me from the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery?  How do I diligently keep the commandments of You my God and Your testimonies and Your statutes which You have commanded me?  How do I do what is right and good in the sight of You?  How do I do all that You command me my LORD?

·      How do You search the heart and test the mind my LORD?  1 Sam 16:7; 1 Chr 28:9; Ps 139:23; Prov 17:3; Jer 11:20; 20:42; Rom 8:27; Rev 2:23

·      The Lord is in His holy temple, the LORD’s throne is in heaven; His eyes behold, His eyelids test the sons of men.  The LORD tests the righteous and the wicked, and the one who loves violence His soul hates.

·      How do I do ALL these things My LORD?

·      Love comers a multitude of sins.

·      When the sons of Israel said, “Is the LORD among us, or not?” they were testing Your love for them and not loving You at all.  This not a loving people.

·      What love do I have?  Is there such thing as evil love?  How do I change my heart?
