Numbers Chapter 20
Omniscient – You know me. You know my questions. You know my thoughts. You know my heart. You know what You mean. You know how to teach me. You know what to say and what to do. You are all-knowing.
Omnipotent- You can do anything. You make Moses and Aaron (Jesus & Gabriel) in trouble with You. You make it that they shall not bring the assembly into the land which You have given them. You put it into their hearts to sin against You. You put it into my heart. You can make me know You and to understand if You just wanted to. You are all-powerful.
Omnipresent – You are everywhere. You are a t the waters of Meribah. You are at Kadesh. You are in the midst of Israel and in the midst of Edom. You are at Mount Hor. You are here with me. You are in my heart. You are all-present.
Eternal – You are the cause of time. You are in the first month. You are thirty days. You are 3,000 years ago. You are now. You are forever and ever. You are time.
Immutable – You do not change. Jesus took the rod from before You, just as You had commanded him. Israel turned away from Edom. Gabriel will be gathered to his people, and will die on Mount Hor. Jesus did just as You had commanded, and they went up to Mount Hor in the sight of all the congregation. You will never be made to change.
Self – Existent – You exist by Yourself. You will exist even when Your creation does not. It is all of Your creation who needs You for their own existence. You have Miriam die and Aaron die (So who does he represent?) You choose. You decide. You make up my existence.
Self-Sufficient – You do not need any of Your creation to bring about Your will or Your purpose. You choose to use Moses, Aaron (Jesus and Gabriel), Edom, and Israel because it is Your good pleasure, not Your need, that governs Your choice.
Infinite – There are no limits or bounds to Your person or dominion. There is no limit to perpetual statutes and generations and forever. You are without limits.
Transcendent – You are apart from Your creation. You are the rock. Jesus is the rock. Rock- Deut 32:15; Job 19:24; Ps 18:2; Ps 19:14; Ps 40:2; Is 8:14; is 26:4; Matt 7:24; Matt 16:18; Matt 27:51; Mark 15:46; Rom 9:33
o Jesus is the cornerstone. Job 38:6; Is 9:13; Is 28:16; Zech 10:4 I cannot see where I am going. Is 8:14, 15; matt 21:42; Mark 12:10; Luke 20:17; Acts 4:11; Eph 2:20; 1 Pet 2:6
Does the cornerstone have anything to do with the rock at the waters of Merabah?
