Dear Jehovah God,
We have set up kings, but not by You. We have appointed princes, but You did not know it. With our silver and gold we have made idols for ourselves, that we might be cut off.
Shallum son of Jabesh became king in the thirty-ninth year of Uzziah king of Judah, and he reigned one month in Samaria.
In the twenty-seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel, Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah became king.
In the thirty-eighth year of Azariah king of Judah, Zechariah the son of Jeroboam became king over Israel in Samaria for six months.
And he (Omri king over Israel) bought the hill Samaria (Shomeron) from Shemer for two talents of silver; and he built on the hill, and named the city which he built Samaria (Shomeron), after the name of Shemer, the owner of the hill.
In the thirty-ninth year of Azariah king of Judah, Menahem son of Gadi became king over Israel and reigned ten years in Samaria.
In the twenty-seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel, Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah became king.
In the thirty-eighth year of Azariah king of Judah, Zechariah the son of Jeroboam became king over Israel in Samaria for six months.
Shallum son of Jabesh became king in the thirty-ninth year of Uzziah king of Judah, and he reigned one month in Samaria.
Then Pekah son of Remaliah, his officer, conspired against him and struck him in Samaria, in the castle of the king’s house with Argob and Arieh; and with him were fifty men of the Gileadites, and he killed him and became king in his place.
And it came about, when Zimri saw that the city was taken, that he went into the citadel of the king’s house and burned the king’s house over him with fire, and died.
We have set up kings, but not by You; we have appointed princes, but You did not know it. And we still do. we do not have kings by You. I do not even know what that means. If Jesus Christ is Your Anointed then how can we have any Presidents or Rulers? We continually appoint princes, but You do not know it. How can You not know it? What does this mean? You are Omniscient, how can You not know it?
I am sorry we do whatever we want. I am sorry that we set up kings, but not by You. I am sorry we have appointed princes, but You do not know it. I do not know how to stop it or what to do. why do I have to support him and following? What do I do? How do I stop hurting You?
You are king. You have established Your king, Your Anointed. You are Jehovah my god and I am Your servant. Amen, Amen, & Amen.
