Isaiah 10:34 – forest
Dear Jehovah God,
“And his concubine, whose name was Re’umah, also bore children: Tevach, Gacham, Tachash, and Ma’achah.”
Isaiah 10:34 – forest
You cut down the thickets of the forest with an iron axe, and Lebanon falls by the Mighty One.
Isaiah 2:13; 33:9; 37:24 – Lebanon
And it is against all the cedars of Lebanon that are lofty and lifted up, against all the oaks of Bashan.
The land mourns and pines away, Lebanon is shamed and withers; Sharon is like a desert plain, and Bashan and Carmel lose their foliage.
Through our servants we reproach the Lord, and we say that with his many chariots he comes up to the heights of the mountains, to the remotest parts of Lebanon; and he cuts down its tall cedars and its choice cypresses. And he goes to its highest peak, its thickest forest.
Intention of this prayer: Lebanon.
You cut down the thickets of the forest with an iron, and Lebanon falls as a mighty one. And against all the cedars of Lebanon that are lofty and lifted, against all the oaks of Bashan. The land mourns, pines away, Lebanon is shamed, withers; Sharon is like a desert plain, and Bashan and Carmel shake off. Through YFA’ servants YFA reproach the Lord, YWYS, and YFA say that with his many chariots he comes up to the heights of the mountains, to the remotest parts of Lebanon; and he cuts down its tall cedars, its choice cypresses. And he goes to its farthest height, its thickest forest.
You are Omnipotent. You Jehovah, laid the foundation of the earth. You have understanding, You who set its measurements. Since You know. You who stretched the line on it. You know on what its bases were sunk You laid its cornerstone, when the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy. I know that You can do all things, and that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted. By the WORD of Your Jehovah the heavens were made, and by the breath of His mouth all their host. He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap; He lays up the deeps in storehouses. Let all the earth fear You Jehovah; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of You. You, Jehovah God, possess all power.
You are Good. In unison the trumpeters and the singers were to make themselves heard with one voice to praise and to glorify You Jehovah, and they lifted up their voice accompanied by trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music and they praised You Jehovah. You indeed are good for Your lovingkindness is everlasting. Praise You Jehovah! Hallelujah! Oh give thanks to You Jehovah, for You are good; for Your lovingkindess is everlasting. In Your goodness You give to others, not according to what they deserve but according to Your good will and kindness toward them.
You are Jehovah God, Jehovah the One and Only!
