Isaiah 10:18, 19 - forest

Dear Jehovah God,

כגוּבְתוּאֵ֖ל יָלַ֣ד אֶת־רִבְקָ֑ה שְׁמֹנָ֥ה אֵ֨לֶּה֙ יָֽלְדָ֣ה מִלְכָּ֔ה לְנָח֖וֹר אֲחִ֥י אַבְרָהָֽם:

          “Bethuel has a daughter, Rebecca. Milkah bore these eight sons to Nachor, Abraham’s brother.”

Isaiah 10:18, 19 – forest

          And You destroy the glory of his forest and of his fruitful garden, both soul and body, and it is as when a sick man wastes away. And the rest of the trees of his forest are so small in number that a child could write them down.

Isaiah 10:33, 34 – destroy the glory

          Behold, the Lord, God Jehovah of hosts, lops off the boughs with a terrible crash; those also who are tall in stature are cut down and those who are lofty are abased. You cut down the thickets of the forest with an iron axe, and Lebanon falls by the Mighty One.

Isaiah 21:17 – rest of the trees

          And the remainder of the number of bowmen, the mighty men of the sons of Kedar, are few; for You Jehovah God of Israel speak.

Intention of this prayer: destroy the glory, and rest of the trees.

          You are Self-Existent. In the beginning was the WORD, YWYS, and the WORD, YWYS, was with You God Jehovah, and the WORD, YWYS, was a god. He was in the beginning with You God Jehovah. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. You are who You are; and You say that thus YWYS shall say to the sons of Israel that You have sent Him to them. Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of You God Jehovah! How unsearchable are Your judgments and unfathomable Your ways! You Jehovah God depend upon nothing for Your existence beyond Yourself.

          You are Loving. You God Jehovah demonstrates Your own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ, YWYS, died for us. The one who does not love does not know You God Jehovah, for God is love. So that Christ, YWYS, may dwell in my heart through faith; and that I, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ, YWYS, which surpass knowledge that I may be filled up to all the fullness of You God Jehovah.

You are Jehovah God, Jehovah the One and Only!
