Psalm 85:8 – work of righteousness

Dear Jehovah God,

“Isaac said to Abraham, his father, ‘My father!’ and he replied, ‘Here I am, my son.’ Isaac said, ‘The fire and the wood are here, but where is the lamb for the ascent-offering?’”

Psalm 85:8 – work of righteousness

I hear what God Jehovah says; For You speak peace to Your people, to Your godly ones; but let them not turn back to folly.

Psalm 29:11; Haggai 2:9; Zechariah 9:10 – speak peace

You turn for me my mourning into dancing; You loosen my sackcloth and gird me with gladness.

The latter glory of this house is greater than the former, Jehovah of hosts, and in this place You give peace, Jehovah of hosts.

You cut off the chariot from Ephraim and the horse from Jerusalem; and the bow of war is cut off. And You speak peace to the nations; and Your dominion is from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth.

Psalm 78:57; 2 Peter 2:21 – turn back

But turn back and act treacherously like their fathers; they turn aside like a treacherous bow.

For it is better for them not to know the way of righteousness, than knowing it, to turn away from the holy commandment handed on to them.

Intention of this prayer: speak peace, and turn back.

Let YWYS hear what You God Jehovah says; For You speak peace to Your people, even to Your godly ones; but let them not turn back to stupidity. You turn for YWYS His mourning into dancing; You loosen His sackcloth and gird Him with gladness. The latter glory of this house is greater than the former, Jehovah of hosts, and in this place, You give peace, Jehovah of hosts. You cut off the chariot from Ephraim and the horse from Jerusalem; and the bow of war is cut off. And You speak peace to the nations; and Your dominion is from sea to sea, and from the River, i.e. Euphrates, to the ends of the earth.

But turn back and act treacherously like their fathers; they turn aside like a treacherous bow. For it is better for them not to know the way of righteousness, than knowing it, to turn away from the holy commandment handed on to them.

You are Infinite. But will You God Jehovah indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain You, how much less this house which YWYS has built! Great are You Jehovah, and highly to be praised, and Your greatness is unsearchable. You Jehovah God have no limits or bounds whatsoever in Your person or dominion.

You are Merciful. And lovingkindness is Yours, O Lord Jehovah, of You recompense a man according to his work. You, O Lord Jehovah, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to ager and abundant in lovingkindness and truth. You looked upon their distress and when You heard their cry; and You remembered Your covenant for their sake, and relented according to the greatness of Your lovingkindness. Your lovingkindesses indeed never cease, for Your compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. You Jehovah are gracious and merciful; slow to anger and great in lovingkindness. You Jehovah are good to all, and Your mercies are over all Your works. You, Jehovah God, are an actively compassionate being. Your respond compassionately toward those who have opposed Your will in pursuit of their own will.

You are Jehovah God, Jehovah the One and Only!
