Leviticus Chapter 22

Eternal – You are the cause of time.  You are a day, until evening and when the sun sets.  You are a week, seven days and the eighth day.  You are until morning.  You are the past, the present, and the future.  You are time.

Immutable – You do not change. You have Moses say to Aaron and his sons to be careful with the holy gifts of the sons of Israel, which they dedicate to You, so as not to profane Your holy name; You are Jehovah.  They shall keep Your charge, so that they may not bear sin because of becoming unclean, and dies.  Thereby because they profane it; You are Jehovah who sanctifies them.  You cause them to bear punishment for guilt by eating their holy gifts; for You are Jehovah who sanctifies them.  I shall keep Your commandments and do them:  You are Jehovah.  You will never be made to change.

Self – Existent – You exist by Yourself.  You do need any of Your creation in order to exist.  It is Your creation who needs You in order to exist.  You make up our existence.  You make up Moses’ existence.  You make up the priests’ existence.  You make up my existence.  You make up Your commandments existence.  You choose.  You decide.

Infinite – There are no limits or bounds to Your person or dominion.  You are forever and ever and throughout generations.

Transcendent – You are apart from Your creation.  You teach the sons of Israel about Yourself.  You teach the sons of Aaron Your higher standard to be models for Israel.  More is expected of them.  They teach Israel the laws and ordinances You gave Moses.

I am learning the truth.  It is being written on my heart and in my mind.  You are sanctifying me with Your Word.  How do I remember all of these things?

Jehovah God is Sovereign. It is Jehovah who speaks to Moses and to Moses and Aaron.  He teaches when we are unclean, and when we are clean.  He gives the law of leprosy.  He has it written down and protected it generations for me to read it and to know it.  It is He Israel worships.  It is Jehovah I worship and listen to.  He is in complete control and He is doing His foreknown plan!

Jehovah God is Self-Sufficient.  He does not need any of His creation to bring about His will or His purpose.  He chooses to use women, His Word, and me because it is His good pleasure, not His need, that governs His choice.

Jehovah God is Immutable.  He does not change. Aaron will keep silent.  He has Nadab and Abihu carried away to outside the camp?  Does what He command that He will not die and He may not become wrathful against all the congregation?  Aaron and his sons Eleazar and Ithamar did according to the WORD of Moses.  Do not drink wine or strong drink when that they come in the sanctuary that they may not die.  Make a distinction between holy and the profane, and between the clean and the unclean. Teach the sons of Israel all the statutes, which He has spoken to us through Moses.  The wave offering will be a thing perpetually due Aaron and his sons with him, just as He has commanded Moses was angry with Aaron’s surviving sons Eleazar and Ithamar. He will never be made to change.

Jehovah God is Omnipotent.  He can do anything. He makes the priesthood.  He puts it into their hearts to do.  He makes Moses to consecrate them and do what He wants to be done.  He makes it happen.  He has it written down for me.  He is all-powerful.

Jehovah God is Omniscient.  He knows everything. He knows His guilt offering and His sin offering and His grain offering and His burnt offering and His ordination offering and His peace offerings.  He knows what they mean to the sons of Israel and to the sons of Aaron.  He knows what they mean to Him.  He wants to accept us and this is a way for us to be accepted before Him.  He knows His future.  He knows my future.  He is all-knowing.
